I LUG NY members displayed various LEGO creations at the Sayville Library’s Fan Fest ’22. The Sayville Library hosted this event last year for the first time and we were happy to display at this event again this year. We displayed various MOCs including space (micro ships, minifig scaled ships and a SHIP), LEGO City block with custom modular buildings, moonbase modules, mosaics, and micropolis buildings. (That’s a lot of “M” themed MOCs!).
Read on to see closer shots of the different sections of our display.
Jason shared an entire table of custom spaceship creations, all belonging to his armada of vehicles. A SHIP (Seriously Huge Investment in Parts) is the centerpiece of this collection of awesome MOCs. It houses some of the minifig scale fighters seen in the picture below.
John K populated a section of the display with many micro build spaceships. While looking over the display we decided that these builds would be a great idea for an upcoming I LUG NY Monthly Building Challenge.
John also displayed many Micropolis standard buildings followed by Brian W’s custom Modular Street and vehicle MOCs.
John K also supplied moonbase modules (several gray sections, red and yellow sections and the angled white moonbase modules). Brian W’s blue and yellow moonbase modules and green and white moonbase modules fill another 2 tables of MOCs followed by Damian’s darl turqoise and white and orange moonbase modules leading into Jason P’s red and white moonbase section. (We LOVE moonbase @ I LUG NY!).
We had a blast at the Sayville Library Fan Fest! In all, we had eight members participate (Alex, Brian W, Damian, Erich, Hope W, Jackie, Jason P, and John K. Two new members also met us at the show to officially join the LUG!
