A handful of I LUG NY members attended Brickfair in Chantilly, VA earlier this month.
Blake, Jon, Will, and I all brought new MOCs to display. Mike brought his micro-scale hospital ship, which was finally nominated for a Brickee after being displayed at several shows.
Lawrie also brought his GBC modules to show off. They can be seen in the video below. The length of the GBC layout this year was a new record. Lawrie’s modules start around 35:10
Jon brought a Mindstorms puppy with wagging tail, which I didn’t get a good shot of.
Blake made his triumphant return with a couple of micro spaceships. His SHIP project The Ugly Duckling wasn’t ready yet, but you can follow its progress here.
Moonbase made its first appearance at BFVA. Will and I each had a new module to display. Will made a hangar bay while I made a biolab.
We also had a few new/ updated characters and small builds scattered around.
And, as per tradition, we had to hit both Milwaukee Frozen Custard and Willard’s BBQ at least a couple times during the weekend.
