The June 2018 Adult Night at LDC Westchester was video game-themed.
Here’s a rundown of the night’s activities.
First up, there was a table of mini-builds from various game franchises and you had to guess what was what.
Next up was the make-and-take. This time it was a retro arcade. It’s pretty straightforward, mostly studs-up construction. But it does the job.
The 15-minute build competition had three Nintendo-themed trophies, a question block, a mushroom, and an N64 controller.
There were 11 entries. The three winners were Tetris/Vault Boy (tie), Fire Flower Mario, and the Mario and Goomba.
There was also a trivia quiz with some extremely obscure questions, a seek-and-find in Miniland with the Series 18 minifigures, and a Mario Kart competition in the theater.
We had five LUG members in attendance, two of whom took home prizes.
The attendance raffle prize was a damaged-box Ninjago City.
Adult Night is every other month.
