The LEGO Movie Mosaics

Just in time for The LEGO Movie’s opening weekend, on February 7th – ILUGNY installed some LEGO Movie themed mosaics and MOC’s at the Queens LEGO Store.

First up, Brian “notenoughbricks” and Bill “Murphquake” put together some awesome mosaics of Emmett and WyldStyle (respectively) based on the movie posters.

In addition to the mosaics, Will “smart_as_a_brick” threw in some assorted space-y elements.

Queens LBR Feb 2014 Minifig Detail — The minifig and smaller scale elements: Honest Abe Bugging out on his “Space Chair”, Benny being generally excited about Space (as he should be), a Micro Micro-Manager (technically a Pico-Manager?) , some robots from the upcoming Spaceship set, and a really small spaceship!

In case you can’t tell – I’m fairly excited for the second wave where we’ll finally get Benny and his Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
